Highlands Room

Patio

The covered back patio is a fun, easily accessible area that plays host to all sorts of events. Ceiling fans in the summer or a roaring fire for the cooler nights provides a wonderful atmosphere for an ice tea or a cup of hot chocolate. Our cozy patio with a built-in stone grill bar is an ideal spot for conversations or having a great time during grill night where residents get together for a fun cookout. Take a seat and enjoy the stars, fresh air, quiet evenings and views of our expansive lawn overlooking the frog garden.

Magnolia Dining Room

Scotia Village understands that excellent nutrition can be found in a fine dining setting. Eating well simply yields better health - physically, emotionally and socially. Our fine dining is not only an opportunity for our residents to enjoy a wonderful meal, but also for socializing. Our Magnolia dining room is grand, yet comfortable, with pleasant staff on hand to assist our residents with their every want or need.

Lush and bright, our courtyard is available year round for small get-togethers and private meditation. Bring along a friend to enjoy the beautiful North Carolina weather, or become engrossed in the latest bestselling book as you sip on a cool beverage from our nearby café. Spend more time outdoors in our sun-filled courtyard.

Billiard Room

Some people like bridge, some like bocce and many residents enjoy the game of pool. Our Billiard room located under a three story rotunda in Scotia Hall offers a wonderful area for a little friendly competition or a fun game.

Cafe

The Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. Our cafe offers a casual dining atmosphere where the food is prepared to order. It is a great place to enjoy a light meal, meet residents or relax with a cup of coffee. If you prefer, the outdoor patio provides a wonderful area to enjoy your meal with friends or family.

Library

Our library is comfortable and relaxing, where natural light provides an atmosphere of quiet pleasure, and residents can enjoy reading local and national newspapers. The Scotia Village Library also offers a large print section and audio library. Residents who are interested in extra reading may also visit the St. Andrews library.
